Our Future with Cuba

John Parke Wright IV

is a 6th generation Floridian whose ancestors pioneered trade between the U.S. and Cuba. Mr Wright, in Havana, works in a number of philanthropic efforts to build economic prosperity, conservation and world peace.

Johannes Werner

is the Editor of Cuba Standard. Based in Tampa, Mr. Werner has covered Latin America and the Caribbean for U.S. and European Media since the early 1990s and reported on Cuban affairs since 1998.

Dr. Robert Hueter

is Associate Vice President for Research at Mote Marine Lab in Sarasota, travels to Cuba often, tracking migrations of sharks, sea turtles and manatees between the two neighboring countries. Hueter and the Cuban scientists he works with have found that in the natural world, Florida and Cuba are part of the same environment.

PARKING AT MICHAELS:   Please stay clear of the 30 and 45 minute parking spots and do not park in the Sweetbay lot.  There is plenty of parking in the lot and Michael's also offers complimentary valet parking at the restaurant entrance on East Avenue.   The back lot in the medical complex is also available to Michael's guests.  Go to the parking area to the far east of the complex.
